Disclaimer on Third-Party POS System Hardware
Please note the following terms and conditions on Third-Party provided POS Hardware
Cosoft will not install or repair any third party hardware whether the hardware is under guarantee or not;
Cosoft will not open any third-party hardware casings to install expansion cards such as serial and USB ports;
Cosoft will not swop-out, lend or rent computer equipment while Customer is repairing 3rd party hardware;
Cosoft has a solid strategy regarding hardware. It has been designed around your needs for reliability and fast turnaround time in the event of hardware failure;
Cosoft will not load Aura or other supported software onto a pc or work on a pc that does not have a licensed copy of Windows with the license sticker attached to the PC;
Cosoft will not install Aura or other supported software onto any pc that has unsupported versions of Anti-Virus. Supported versions are only ESET NOD32 or Windows Bitdefender;
Cosoft will not install Aura or other supported software onto any computer that has an unsupported operating system or unsupported version of Windows such as Windows Home, Windows Single Language, Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7;
Cosoft always quotes on hardware that will ensure a lengthy product lifecycle and thus a return on investment. In order to keep up with the rapid pace of changing technology, we could be forced to discontinue or no longer support minimum specification hardware with no notice;
All hardware that Cosoft supplies is installed completely free of charge (except for the network points). Third-party computer equipment is to be installed by Third-party supplier;
By supplying 3rd party hardware, customer does not qualify for the 100% discount on the Aura training course at any of our training academies valued at R2,050;
Customer hereby specifically indemnifies Cosoft against delays where the customer has supplied equipment that does not meet the specifications in this document, or if any of the above conditions results in software installation delays;
Cosoft always charges a non-standard installation fee for software installations performed on 3rd party hardware which is over and above the standard installation fee;
Customer agrees to be invoiced by Cosoft at the current hourly callout rate for any extra work performed in order to complete installations on third-party hardware that does not meet the requirements of this document;
Customer also agrees to be invoiced by Cosoft for additional travel and accommodation that may be necessary as a result of Customer supplying third-party hardware that does not meet the requirements of this document;
The server must be delivered to our Midrand Office at the customers expense a minimum of 10 days before installation in order to have a non-standard software installation performed. The customer will then need to collect the server from our Midrand office and install it on site at his own expense.
